CONFIRMATIONS AND NEWS

Frilvam in the name of sustainable development

From Tuesday 5 to Friday 8 September, stand C131 (hall 9) of Frilvam will be the “green heart” of PLAST 2023. In fact, on the occasion of the Milan fair, the Italian company, with its over 70 years of history, will present to the public several novelties which confirm the company’s constant commitment to the pursuit of environmental protection.

The new product line called PRISMA UPCYCLING stands out above all, its main objective being the manufacturing and marketing of sustainable products. A perfect example is the innovative process able to incorporate a waste product of the agri-food industry (the rice husk) to the most common thermoplastic resins for the creation of plastic with reduced environmental impact. All visitors will be able to discover and learn more about this novelty at the Frilvam stand.

The Italian Group (with offices in Milan, Modena and Scientrier – France), is also well aware of how transparency is a fundamental value for the creation of a common conscience against environmental pollution. This is why Frilvam, through the “Greenhouse Gas Protocol” standard (scope 1 and scope 2), will share with visitors to the fair the data on carbon emissions per kilogramme of plastic produced by the Group in 2022. The first step in pursuing the goal of carbon neutrality.

Among the confirmations, however, the absolute protagonists will be the other Frilvam product lines:

  • Prisma Whites / Blacks
  • Prisma Colored
  • Prisma BOPP
  • Prisma Additives.

AN UNMISSABLE EVENT

PLAST 2023

The Plast fair is the reference event for all stakeholders involved in the plastics and rubber industry. It brings together, every three years, the main international players from different industries (from suppliers of semi-finished or finished products, to manufacturers of machines and equipment for the production of plastic or rubber), PLAST is the perfect scenario in which the main players (and experts) of this sector can formulate solutions capable of responding to the challenges of the entire sector in the short to medium term. The main focus of the 2023 edition of the fair will be the theme of recycling and environmental sustainability, proposing a series of activities and projects aimed at enhancing products derived from recycling processes.

WHERE AND WHO

Hall 9 Stand C131

PLAST 2023 is scheduled to be held from Tuesday 5 to Friday 8 September at the Fiera Milano exhibition centre, located in the north-western area of the capital of the Lombardy region. Thanks to its 20 halls (and an available space of 345,000 square metres indoors and 60,000 square metres outside), Fiera Milano is one of the largest exhibition centres in the world. To reach the pole: by subway just take the red line M1 (you need a suburban ticket) and get off at the Rho-Fiera Milano stop; by car, instead, once you arrive in Milan, you can take the A8 (direction Varese-Como) or the A4 (direction Turin) and, in both cases, you will find the “Fiera Milano” motorway exit. If you are arriving from Linate, Malpensa or Orio al Serio airports, the advice is to use the paid bus service. For more information, we recommend consulting the websites of the specific airport of arrival.

PLAST 2023 is the ideal stage to reaffirm Frilvam’s commitment to finding innovative solutions, able to combine the need for a sustainable ‘change’ with the industrial needs of all its partners (consolidated and potential). The launch of the newborn Prisma Upcycling line moves precisely in this direction, ensuring, with the same production volumes, lower costs and considerable saving in greenhouse gas emissions
